044 Thousands of people were gathering at Chavis Park before they marched onto Jones Street, Raleigh on Saturday. The NAACP joined with groups such as the Historic Thousand on Jones Coalition, or HK on J, to take to the streets to fight for changes in legislation with a 14-point agenda. The group began at Chavis Park then marched down Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The thousands of people then ended up on Jones Street in front of the legislative building. _____________________________________________________________________ 051-054 Together with the Historic Thousands, Larry D.
