Hey everyone,

 

Please remember that at the beginning of the summer most of us were assigned “Cheat Sheets” (to be named something better later) to write up for bins that we will put up on the new student side of the office (see assignments below).  According to my records, they were due “in early August”, and the earlier the better.  We are responsible for filling the new space starting ~Aug 10th, so please help me get our proverbial ducks in a row now so that we won’t be swamped at the beginning of the year.  Cheat sheets are due August 15th.

Cheat sheets should be no longer than one page and include the most relevant formal and informal advice we as Student Government can provide students.  Bullets and lists are recommended.  Assignments are as follows, one sheet per topic:

 

Natalie:

Requesting $ from Congress (annual, subsequent)

SAFO account creation

How to write a grant proposal

Who pays for copies; prices

 

Kim

List of printers in the area: how far they are from campus, any pertinent information

Catering, that Student Government does not pay for it, a list of caterers in the area

List of non-university arts groups and contact info

List of non-university service groups and contact info

How to reserve campus space/when (planning ahead)

How to get office space (consult Jon on this one)

List of state media outlets, the email addresses for letters to the editor, websites, locations, etc.
