The Nominating Committee of the UMA is seeking nominations of current UMA members to fill three vacancies on the UMA Board of Directors, effective July 1, 1999.

The three seats available are currently held by Hilda Durham, Lindsay Reeves, and Steve Weiss, each of whom is eligible for election for another term.  Current Board members with continuing terms are Fran Allegri, Sharon Bowers, Trevaughn Brown, Leslie Cornell, Ann Dodd, Ann Edwards, and Sharon Grayden.

Directors elected this year will serve three-year terms from July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2002.

Nominations
Any UMA member can be nominated for these important positions.  A list of current UMA members and a nomination form are both available on this web site.  Before you nominate someone, please check to be sure they are willing to serve.

Elections
Bollots will be mailed to all UMA members in mid-March with a return deadline of April 9.  The results will be announced at the UMA annual meeting in April.
